Apple served with warrant to open the Texas shooter's iPhone SE
Apple has formally been served with a search warrant for access to the iPhone SE used with the person responsible for the Sutherland Springs, Texas shooting. As for the iCloud data, Apple generally helps law enforcement access which data, providing the iCloud data, as well as the equipment needed to decrypt it. On the other hand, don't expect Apple to innovate the tool necessary to open the iPhone SE used with Kelley. This is a similar situation to the showdown among law enforcement and Apple related to the San Bernardino shooter's iPhone. Apple has yet to formally respond to the search warrant from the Texas Rangers, however we'll be sure to upgrade the time they do.
