- Police are warning iPhone users to be aware of fake Apple iCloud text messages which are being sent out in a 'phishing' scam.The messages claim the user's Apple ID has been locked due to unauthorised login attempts and asks them to click on a link to verify their account.But police said that when users click on the shortened link, the fraudsters are after their login details instead.
