LG G6 vs Apple iPhone 7: the weigh-in quoting : "stuff"

as declared in GETTY • APPLE Apple has changed its policy on third-party iPhone repairsApple has reportedly made a small – but not insignificant – change to its iOS hardware warranty policy. According to a leaked memo, published by Apple blog 9To5Mac, the technology company has changed its stance on third-party display repairs. 9TO5MAC • APPLE The leaked memo confirms a change to Apple's policy on third-party repairsIt also means iPhone owners may be able to use third-party stores offering screen replacements at a better rate than the Apple Store, saving them money. Until now, Apple policy was that if the device had a third-party display, the iOS device's warranty was void and the Apple Store would not perform any repairs on the product. Getting a cracked or smashed iPhone screen replaced from a high street store other than the Apple Store or one of its authorised service providers will no longer void the warranty.

LG G6 vs Apple iPhone 7: the weigh-in
Luckily, the LG G6 looks like a much stronger effort. Apple has used the same core design for the last three mainline iPhone models, with last autumn's iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus delivering the ultimate versions of its flagship handset. Revealed at MWC, the LG G6 looks like a strong contender to put against the coming wave of expected handsets from Samsung and HTC, but how does it stack up compared to the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in terms of specs and features? LG hasn't followed quite the same approach. Ditching the modular trend, the G6 is just a straight up slab of wonderphone, based on what we've seen and tried so far, with a big and bold screen, appealing design, and plenty of power within.
