Apple supplier Foxconn has been illegally employing students to work overtime to help assemble the iPhone X, the Financial Times announced Tuesday. Six high school students told the Financial Times they would usually work 11-hour shifts to help manufacture Apple's flagship smartphone at a factory in Zhengzhou, China. The report told the 6 students interviewed were between a group of 3,000 students from Zhengzhou Urban Rail Transit School. Apple and Foxconn acknowledged to the FT which they had disclosed statuses of student interns working overtime and told they were taking remedial action.
