Tech Armor says its new screen protector improves iPhone performance. We tested it

As it stated in Tech Armor has a new screen protector for various iPhone devices called the Enhance, but the company claims it does more than protect your smartphone's screen. Tech Armor told Digital Trends the folks at Clear Technology helped translate this tech into the screen protector using carbon nanotubes. The testWe slapped the Enhance screen protector onto an iPhone X on AT&T, and compared it with an iPhone X without any screen protector on the same network (and same plan). (You can see a selection of our favorite iPhone X screen protectors, ranging from less than $10 to $30 and up.) All 2018 iPhones and two new iPads will get the iPhone X's most controversial feature

While the iPhone X was delayed significantly last year because manufacturing Face ID components wasn't easy, that's not the case this year. All these devices should support Face ID, which would significantly drive up demand for key components. Apple will have three distinct iPhones in stores this year, including an affordable 6.1-inch LCD model, a 5.8-inch iPhone X successor, and a second OLED device, the "iPhone X Plus" with a 6.5-inch screen. When it comes to new iPads, Apple has already launched an affordable 9.7-inch iPad earlier this year that does not feature Face ID support. Both tablets, shown in concept renders above, will ditch the home button in favor of Face ID, according to Ming-Chi Kuo.
