Apple's New iPhones May Have Underwhelming Performance
2018 is the year Apple dramatically changes its iPhone line-up, both in terms of display size and cheaper pricing. The first Geekbench results for Apple's new iPhones have been spotted by eagled-eyed French site iGeneration, and they reveal a year of underwhelming performance stagnation lies ahead. Breaking down the results for the listed 'iPhone 11,2' (expected to be the iPhone X Plus as the iPhone 8 Plus was identified as the 'iPhone 10,2'), we discover Apple's upcoming phone has just 10% greater single-core performance and 5% greater multi-core performance than last years models. Finally, iPhone X Plus buyers are also likely to be treated to the highest ever iPhone screen resolution so there's some compensation here. The iPhone 7 boosted its CPU 40% and GPU 50% over the iPhone 6S and the iPhone 8 offers a 25% faster CPU and 30% faster CPU than the iPhone 7.Apple Suddenly 'Confirms' Three Radical New iPhones
according to We know a lot about Apple's upcoming new iPhones: their size changes, reduced prices, smart technology and inherent compromises. But now Apple itself has suddenly confirmed the existence of these new models…Spotted by Consomac, Apple has chosen to publicly file identifiers for all its new iPhones in the Eurasian database, and it confirms three distinct designs will be coming to market. In its filing, the Eurasian database lists all the devices as running iOS 12 – the next generation of iOS which Apple historically launches alongside new iPhones every September. Finally, as you might expect from an official regulatory body, the Eurasian database is never wrong. Past Apple filings on it have uncovered the iPhone 7, Apple Watch series, AirPods and the new entry-level iPad launched earlier this year.collected by :Clara William
