Last year's champion was the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, handsets that were regarded as iterative upgrades and simply marking time until the more advanced iPhone X appeared on the scene – a handset that was expected to trigger a super-cycle of sales. One year later Apple has cut back on parts ordering, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus outsold the iPhone X, and the three new devices struggled to sneak past two tired devices in terms of unit sales. New Pixel 3 leaked photos show deeper notch than iPhone X

XDA DevelopersWith about three months to go until Google is expected to launch its next pair of flagship phones in October, alleged leaked photos of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL are common to see. The latest pictures of supposedly leaked images of the Pixel 3 come from XDA Developers, and show a white model with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The notch, which is located on the top of the screen, appears deeper than in prior leaked images. Compared to Apple's iPhone X, the Pixel 3's notch is also shorter but thicker as well. That being said, it's useful to get a peek at what the Pixel 3 may look like, but take these photos with a grain of salt.

New research shows that owning an iPhone is the most common sign of wealth

as informed in A new paper from the National Bureau of Economic Research, highlighted by Business Insider, aims to infer demographics based on consumer behavior and media consumption. In their research, Bertrand and Kamenica found that no individual brand is as predictive of "high-income" as owning an iPhone. "Across all years in our data, no individual brand is as predictive of being high-income as owning an Apple iPhone in 2016," the paper reads. The research also suggests that owning an Android phone or using Verizon are a strong indicators of being high-income as well. This paper incorporates data from Mediamark Research Intelligence, which had a sample size of 6,394.

Logic would suggest these are arranged by price with the A19 referring to the new 6.1-inch budget iPhone X (details), the A20 being the second generation 5.8-inch iPhone X (details) and A21 the massive 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus (details), we can't say for sure as they may be ordered by size.
