Tech company Apple helped College Station police track down the owner of a stolen iPhone earlier this month. Officers arrested William Curtis, 19, last December for selling stolen phones. Police say Curtis admitted to getting the phones from a known burglar in the area. College Station Police subpoenaed Apple for the name associated with one of the phones sold to the ecoATM at Post Oak Mall. Officers used that information to contact the victim earlier this month.
